  • Rogers A.I Nwoke, FCA; MCIB; HCIB; MBA (Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer)

    Rogers A.I Nwoke is the founding Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of HASAL Microfinance Bank Limited. He brings along over 2 decades of experience of banking career, covering Investment banking, retail banking and Microfinance.

    As a banker and entrepreneuer, Rogers understands the benefits of a thriving private sector to economic development. Little wonder he left a prominent position in commercial banking to establish HASAL Microfinance Bank in 2008.

    Mr. Nwoke is an Alumnus of the Harvard Business School Accion Program in Strategic Leadership for Microfinance. He is also a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), a Honorary Senior Member (HCIB) of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria.

    Mr. Nwoke is also an International Certified Expert (iCME) of microfinance and International Certified SME Finance Expert (iCSME) from the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management, Germany.

    He has an MBA from Warwick Business School England, where his research interest focused on Microfinance and Entrepreneurship Development.

    Joyce Rogers-Nwoke; MCIB, MBA (Chief Operating Officer (COO))

    p> Joyce is an Alumnus of the Harvard Business School Accion Program in Strategic Leadership for Microfinance and Frankfurt School of Finance & Management Germany.

    Joyce Rogers-Nwoke is a seasoned banker with more than 17 years’ experience in Business Development, Credit Administration, Banking Operations and Information, Communication Technology (ICT).

    Joyce joined HASAL Microfinance Bank in 2008 and has been a pioneer in driving innovative microfinance delivery and financial inclusion within the bank.

    She is a Certified Microfinance Trainer of the UNDP MFToT8 and Certified Microfinance Practitioner by the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria.

    She has attended various trainings in institutions like the Boulder Institute of Microfinance Italy, School of African Microfinance Kenya, and Bankers Institute of Rural Development India.

    She has a background in Economics and an MBA from Strathclyde Business School, Scotland.

    Julie Ogwu Agi, MCIB, MBA (Group Head, Enterprise & Credit Risk Management),

    Julie Ogwu Agi has over 23 years of banking experience covering Banking Operations and Credit Administration in major Nigerian Financial Institutions before joining HASAL Microfinance Bank as the Head, Credit Risk Management.

    Mrs. Agi has attended various competence enhanced courses such as Managing People for Strategic Advantage, Effective Marketing, Personal Effectiveness, Service Excellence, Customer Service, Total Quality Management, Fraud Management, Detection, Prevention & Control and Corporate Governance for Microfinance Banks.

    She is a thoroughbred Operations Manager who has helped major financial institutions in the country grow and create wealth for its investors.

    She has an MBA from University of Calabar.

    Chinenye Alaribe, ACA; MCIB, (Group Head, Business Development & Special Project)

    Chinenye Alaribe is a Certified Microfinance Practitioner, Business Consultant and Chartered Accountant with 17 years Financial Services experience covering Wholesale and Retail Banking, Pension Administration and Capital Markets Operations.

    Before joining HASAL Microfinance Bank Ltd, he worked with Associated Discount House Limited (now Coronation Merchant Bank Ltd) where he gained experience in customer relations and operations, and Oak Pensions Limited where he was among those who pioneered the company’s start-up in 2006 as Assistant Regional Head for the North. He also had a stint at The Nigerian Stock Exchange, where he was involved in packaging Mega listings on the floor of the Exchange.

    He is a Start-up Expert who has been involved directly in the start-up and nurturing of four thriving institutions including HASAL Microfinance Bank Limited.

    He has attended both local and international courses at reputable training institutions such as Fitch Learning (USA), Philips Consulting (Lagos), FITC (Lagos), Lagos Business School (Lagos), to mention a few.

    Muhammed Abubakar, MCIB, MBA (Head, Loan Monitoring & Recovery)

    Muhammed Abubakar has over 9 years of banking experience covering Microcredit and Microfinance banking in major Nigeria Financial Institutions before joining HASAL Microfinance Bank Limited.

    Mr. Abubakar is a Certified Microfinance Practitioner by the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN).

    He has attended several professional courses covering Frontline leadership, Lending in an Uncertain Economy, Loan portfolio Development, Credit Portfolio Management, and Customer Service Excellence.

    He holds a bachelor and Masters Degree in Business Administration from Ahmadu Bello University Zaria.

    Simon Eromosele, MCIB (Zonal Manager, Abuja South Zone)

    Simon Eromosele has over 8 years of banking experience covering Microcredit and Microfinance banking in major Nigeria Financial Institutions before joining HASAL Microfinance Bank Limited.

    He is a Certified Microfinance Practitioner by the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN).

    He is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association, Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria, Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered) and the Institute of Debt Recovery Agents of Nigeria.

    Simon holds a Bachelor and Masters Degree in Law.

    Queen Ajani, MCIB (Zonal Manager, Abuja West Zone)

    Queen Ajani has over 14 years professional experience, out of which 6 years was well spent as a Business Development personnel within the commercial banking space. Queen joined HASAL Microfinance in 2009 and has led various business development teams within the lasy 8 years.

    She is a Certified Microfinance Practitioner Chartered by the Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN). She is a Certified Microfinance Trainer of the UNDP MFToT8.

    Queen has developed competence in microfinance through various trainings from prestigious institutions such as West African Institute for Financial & Economic Management (WAIFEM), Gambia School of African Microfinance (SAM) Kenya, and the Coady International Institute, Canada.

    Ruskiyat Badmus, MCIB, MBA (Head, Strategic Development & Finance)

    Ruskiyat Badmus is an alumnus of the Birmingham Business School UK, University of New Hampshire Durham USA, Frankfurt School of Finance & Management Germany and over 8 years’ experience in the finance industry.

    Ruskiyat is an expert in SME Financing and Micro financing with trainings from prestigious programs and institutions like the Boulder Institute of Microfinance, School of African Microfinance Kenya.

    She is a Certified Microfinance Practitioner by the Chartered Institute of Bankers Nigeria (CIBN) and Certified Microfinance Trainer of the UNDP MFToT8.

    She has background in Accounting and an MBA (Global Banking & Finance).

    Lilian Sahobor-Bassey, MCIB (Head, Consumer Protection & Social Performance Management)

    Mrs. Lilian Sahobor-Bassey has over 14 years professional experience covering consulting, Human Resource Management, Training & Development and Consumer Protection.

    She is certified Microfinance Trainer of the UNDP MFToT7.

    She is a member of the Nigerian Institute for Training & Development (NITAD) and a certified Microfinance Practitioner by the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN).

    She has attended various microfinance trainings from prestigious institutions such as the Bankers Institute of Rural Development India and the school of African Microfinance, Kenya

    Lilian holds a Bachelors degree in Philosophy from the University of Ibadan.

    Salami Momoh Saliu, MCIB; FCE; MBA, (Head, Audit & Inspection)

    Salami Momoh Saliu has over 20 years of professional experience from major financial institutions in Nigeria.

    He is a certified Microfinance Practitioner by the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN) and a fellow of Institute of Chartered Economist of Nigeria (ICEN).

    Salami has attended trainings on programs such as Fraud Prevention, Detection & Control and Effective Internal Control System as a prelude to fraud prevention.

    He holds a Masters in Business Administration (Accounting).

    John Ologun, MCIB (Head, Branch Services & Operations)

    John has 10 years professional experience from both the commerical banking and microfinance sector.

    He is a certified Microfinance Practitioner by the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN)and also a Certified Microfinance Trainer of the UNDP MFToT8.

    John possess a Post-graduate Diploma in Planning & Administration.
